How often should i work out my upper body?
I am looking to get my upper body (bi's, tri's, chest, shoulders) bigger and not focus on my lower body as much anymore. What is a good schedule to follow for maximum growth up top?? (As of right now i plan on day one being bi's, chest, shoulder, day two back, tri's, neck.) How often should i do this?
Answer:
I'd change that around if I were you.
If your looking gain some nice muscle mass you should workout your back (Latts) the same day as your chest. Do this.
DAY1
-Bench/incline/decline (at least 4 sets of 10 reps on each)
-Pull ups/latt pulls/upper latt puls/lower (at least 3 sets of 10 on each)
-Shrugs (at least 4 sets of 15)
-Flys ( 4 sets of 10)
(The key here is to mix and match, just make sure you finish all these in about an hour, longer if you use heavy weights)
DAY2
Shoulder Raises/shoulder press/military press/dumbell press (at least 3-4 sets of 8-10 reps on each)
Curls/hammer curls/straigh curls/reverse curls 4 sets of 10 on each)
Tri pull downs/tri-bar/tri-raises/Tri-extensions (4 sets of 10 on each)
ABS (what ever you do to do abs there are so many different ways)
Obliques
Back extensions.
Make sure your eating right.
Upper Body
